Some of the top outdoor brands are coming together to support The Conservation Alliance by donating 5% of all online sales from April 21 – 27 as part of the organization’s #WeKeepItWild campaign. The goal of the campaign is to create a rallying point for like minded brands to join together and drive meaningful impact during the week surrounding Earth Day, April 22. The coalition sale is an opportunity for consumers to shop from the participating brands to make an elevated commitment to support The Conservation Alliance’s efforts to protect North America’s wild places.

“The Conservation Alliance was established in 1989 to bring like-minded brands together for the protection of wild places. The #WeKeepItWild campaign does just that by collectively raising funds that, when combined, have a much greater impact,” said Conor McElyea, Membership Program Manager at The Conservation Alliance. “Our members are vital to our work—by paying annual membership dues [that are directly passed through to our grant fund], dictating how and where those funds are allocated, and throughout the year, using their voice as advocates for the protection of public lands. We are sincerely heartened to see this group of member organizations going above and beyond to support our mission, and hope that this program can continue to grow and become a true win-win for both the Alliance and participating brands.”

This year, the coalition of participating member companies include: Backpacker’s Pantry, Dometic, Grayl, Gregory Packs, GU Energy Labs, Helly Hansen, MiiR, Mountain Safety Research (MSR), Nomadix, Royal Robbins, Ruffwear, Therm-a-Rest, Toad&Co, and Topo Athletic.

Funds raised online from these outdoor companies will help the Alliance protect wild lands and waters across North America, supporting a vision of a planet where wild places, wildlife, and people thrive together.
