If you’ve had a chance to read any of my past Mountain Khakis product reviews, I am here to tell you that I continue to be a big fan of Mountain Khakis and what it represents. The Mountain Khakis brand is still young (est. 2003) compared to other established brands such as Patagonia and The North Face, but they have quickly become a trusted brand when it comes to durability, style, and quality. I have been testing out and wearing MK products for 5-6 years now and while they don’t pay me except for providing product for review, I feel like I am a true brand ambassador because I can’t say enough good things about the Mountain Khakis brand. Pretty much everything I try on turns into cotton gold.
Mountain Khakis Fall 14 Preview
Mountain Khakis sent me a couple pieces to test out for Fall 14 and the brand continues to put a smile on my face. The shirt I tested out is called the Yak Shirt and is made of a blend of hemp, organic cotton, wool and yak. This shirt not only feels great on and provides warmth in the fall/winter temps, it is also super stylish. My first day wearing it was after a day of skiing in Breckenridge and walking about town, I felt like a true mountain man even though I have to go home back to suburbia most days. The Mountain Khakis Yak Shirt will retail for $109.95.
I’ve also had the chance to test out the Mountain Khaki’s Camber 105 which blends both casual and active. The pant uses a durable yet soft 8 oz. twill cotton and includes a dash of spandex for a little flexibility for when you’re on the trail. The Camber 105 is super comfortable to cruise around town or on the trail and works great on for those fall camping trips.
Outside of what I have tested, you can expect to see more khakis and more comfy and stylish flannel from Mountain Khakis in Fall. Stay tuned on what’s the latest and greatest at www.amazon.com/mountainkhakis.
