Have you heard about the Primus Eta PackLite yet? Primus has come out with a great lightweight backpacking stove for all you outdoors addicts that want to have the latest and greatest camp stove. The Eta PackLite comes with 2 bowls to eat out of, one that fits on the bottom of the pan that protects the coils and a larger plastic bowl that protects the inside nonstick coating from getting scratched. As you can pack the wind screen, the burner, and a small propane fuel canister inside the pot, it is important to keep the pot from getting scratched by all this. The Primus Eta PackLite has a very sturdy base that is nice to keep the pot from tipping over and keeping an even boil. The wind screen is a nice addition for those of you that like to test the limits in less than ideal conditions, such as summiting a 14’er where wind is often a problem. The cooking system also comes with an attachable lid that has an integrated strainer and is also BPA free. Last but not least, the Eta PackLite is extremely fuel efficient with an efficiency rate over 75%, allowing you to take less fuel canisters when out on a backpacking trip, saving you weight and space. Our testers used the Primus Eta PackLite on overnight trips as well as weeklong backpacking and car camping trips and had nothing but good things to say about the stove.
