As summer comes to an end and the cooler weather rolls in, we always look forward to packing up our Fall camping gear and heading out into nature to spend some quality time in the fresh Fall air. One of the great things about camping is that it takes very little gear to get out there and experience the outdoors. However, it’s also nice to have a comfortable, cozy and convenient campsite. Which is why we have been testing some impressive picks for this Fall Camping gear roundup. Everything from a canvas bell tent to a portable power station, these gear picks will not only make camp life easier, but they will take your recreation to the next level.

Sawyer Picaridin Insect Repellent Lotion

One of the reasons Fall camping is so enjoyable, is that most of the bugs have left for the season, unfortunately not all of them have parted ways, which is when we turn to Sawyer’s Picaridin Insect Repellent Lotion. It is a 20% concentration of Picaridin which is an extremely effective alternative to DEET. The low odor formula is family friendly, keeps the bugs at bay and the smell is pleasant, but really almost non-existent. A single application of the lotion lasts up to 14 hours, and the 4 ounce bottle is more than enough for bigger groups on extended trips. For those campers worried about their equipment, the Sawyer Picaridin Insect Repellent Lotion is gear safe and will not melt or damage plastics like DEET can. MSRP Varies
