This year, Camelbak has added a stainless steel line to their BPA free Better Bottle series. The Stainless model runs for $24 and is available in a few different designs. The Stainless model is made from medical-grade stainless steel and polypropylene. Testers enjoyed being able to drink their beverage of choice without tasting the bottle itself. They also found the bottle to be extremely durable and able to withstand bumps and drops without scratching or breaking. The Big Bite valve was also a continued success because it provides spill proof closure and easy to drink while on the move. The stainless is easy to clean and resistant to staining; the lid and straw can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher, while the bottle can be easily washed by hand.
The Camelbak Better Bottle Stainless is also available in an insulated model for a few extra dollars. The Insulated Stainless utilizes micro-welded double wall technology to keep your drinks cooler for longer. The Better Bottle Insulated Stainless is the same size as the 0.75L Better Bottle series, however, it can only hold 0.5L due to double wall technology. Testers found that when compared to the standard Better Bottle and its’ competitors, the Stainless Insulated outperformed and kept beverages cooler. For individuals that like the 0.75L carrying capacity of the traditional bottle, but also would like enhanced insulation, Camelbak sells insulated bottle sleeves.
