Holiday Gift Ideas For Adventure Lovers
So you’re looking for the perfect gift and you need a little creative juice so your gift doesn’t end up in the back of the closet. We’ve been doing some digging through our gear piles and came up with some of the products we love the most.
2018 National Parks Pass
One of the greatest gifts I’ve received over the years is a National Parks Pass. The parks pass gets you unlimited access to some of nature’s greatest natural wonders such as the Grand Canyon, Arches, Joshua Tree and more. If you’re giving the pass as a gift to your spouse or someone you regularly share adventures with, you’ll be able to share in the joy of the pass and even save a few dollars in the process. When purchasing this pass, remember to purchase the 2018 version and not the 2017 version.
State Park Pass
A close second to the National Park Pass is a State Park Pass. While some states are better than others when it comes to state parks, the majority of state parks are great places for adventure. State parks are very family friendly with showers in campgrounds, picnic table areas that are clean and kept up and many of the state parks have access to water features such as lakes and rivers. When purchasing the pass, keep in mind that most passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
