There are many amazing features that set the OneWind Double apart from all other hammocks. Not only is the OneWind Double designed with the highest quality components, it also comes with a Lifetime Guarantee.
Material Used in the OneWind Double Camping Hammock
The OneWind Double is made of a high strength breathable 70D hexagon ripstop nylon that is abrasion resistant, resulting in a durable and long lasting textile. The hexagon ripstop nylon is supple and soft like a silk blanket, yet super lightweight, tear resistant, and breathable. You instantly feel the difference in softness and durability.
Durability of the OneWind Double Camping Hammock
The OneWind Double camping hammock will hold up to 550lbs, has a stitch free single panel design that avoids the splices in the conventional three panel hammocks which eliminates the scratchy and stiff seams that keep one tossing and turning at night in other hammocks. The hexagon pattern in the nylon is stronger compared to traditional square or diamond patterns, this distinctive design provides extra protection against snagging on branches, rocks, zippers, keys or other things you might encounter in the Great Outdoors. You’d be hard pressed to find a more durable nylon hammock out there.
OneWind Double Camping Hammock Bug Net
The included mesh bug net is not connect directly to the hammock, but rides on the ridgeline that can also double as a place to hang a lantern, water bottle, headlamp, or anything you can attach with a carabiner. With no zippers on the bug net, there is no need to worry about them getting stuck, snagged or broken, simple enter through the opening at the bottom of the bug net. Then cinch the shock cord down at the bottom of the net and it will conform to the hammock and keep out any and all pesky critters. Also included is a lightweight organizer that can slide along the ridgeline to be positioned where ever is handy and is great for storing a wallet, keys, portable speaker, or anything else you might want to have nearby.
OneWind Double Camping Hammock Tree Straps
Unlike most hammock tree straps consisting of many loops, OneWind uses what they call a Whoopie Sling, which are tree friendly straps designed with adjustable buckles. This design is comprised of a pair of 12′ single layer tree straps with 2 adjustable buckles that not only make the kit lighter, but in my opinion makes setup quicker and length adjustment a breeze.
Size of the OneWind Double Camping Hammock
Measuring 11′ x 68″, the OneWind Double offers luxurious space for the single sleeper delivering maximum comfort and a flatter lay. If you want to share the hang with your significant other or your pup there is plenty of comfortable sleeping space for two.
OneWind Double Camping Hammock Stuff Sack
Setting up and taking down this hammock is a breeze as it packs easily into its double sided stuff sack. All of the hammock components fit into this single pouch so you will never have to worry about leaving anything behind. When packed into the stuff sack the OneWind Double is roughly the size of a 2 liter soda bottle. Just toss it in a backpack or hang it from from gear loops and the OneWind camping hammock is easy to bring along no matter the occasion.

Pro Tips for Hammock Camping
- Aim for a 30 degree strap angle: A hammock hung at this angle will have enough give for you to rest nicely, but not so much sag that your back bends uncomfortably. If you can’t achieve a 30 degree angle, then try to go steeper, because a little sag will feel better than a flat lay.
- Sleep at a slight angle: This solves the problem of having your back bend uncomfortably. Simply angle your body about 10-15 degrees away from the centerline after you crawl in and you will be able to lie in a more horizontal position.
- Plan on being colder than in a tent: The amount of surface area that’s exposed to cold air in a hammock is greater than in a tent. So if temps are dropping below the 60’s at night, consider adding a good underquilt or bringing a warm sleeping bag.
Complete the Bundle with the OneWind Rain Fly and Underquilt
If you want to enjoy your hammock without exposing yourself to the elements consider adding the OneWind Rain Tarp to your hammock kit. This ultralight waterproof tarp is made from Silnylon Ripstop nylon and is coated with silicone/PU 4000mm waterproofing to keep rains or mountain storms from disturbing your slumber. The OneWind tarp can be used in all four seasons. In colder weather, the ends convert to doors and can be closed to keep in warmth and keep out wind and snow. In warmer weather, the rain fly can be set up numerous ways, allowing airflow, or closing down for blowing rain. 11 tie out points and 4 pullouts make for quick and easy tensioning, and the compressible design lets you take your hammock system to even more remote locations. MSRP $84.90
If you are hammocking in cool or cold weather consider adding the OneWind underquilt. Because a hammock wraps around you, a lot of your underside is exposed to the cold. Thus a better solution than a sleeping pad is an underquilt. Because it hangs outside and below, an underquilt’s insulation doesn’t compress and can loft fully to provide plenty of warmth. The OneWind insulated underquilt uses an adjustable shock cord suspension to seal around your body with a snug fit so you can enjoy a comfortable night overlooking the stars. There’s no need to worry about a little morning dew when you’re camping because this quilt resists water. DuPont™ Sorona® Synthetic Insulation throughout the bag implements top tier synthetic insulation to trap maximum body heat and keep your core temperature up on colder nights. Weighing in at just over two pounds, the underquilt won’t weigh you down on longer adventures to your favorite remote destinations. MSRP $64.90
