Rugged and Ready to go right out of the box –
The JBL Flip 3 speaker comes ready to go right out of the box. Picking it up the first time, you could tell the weight was right for good sound (pick up a cheap set of headphones and you’ll know what I mean) – it has a significant heft, is made of durable rubber materials, and has a hard mesh speaker cover which encloses the speakers on the inside. The JBL Flip 3 design features two bass speakers, on one either side of the “cannon” so-to-speak, and is in the ultra-compact category of the JBL speaker offerings. It’s approximately the size of a tube of tennis balls and you’ll be on the right track.
Able to handle multiple phones/tablets for multiple functions
Connect up to three Bluetooth devices to the speaker – at one time; I’m not just talking a device memory. You can actually have three active devices connected to the JBL Flip 3, and switch playing/streaming content from each flawlessly. This is pretty awesome around the campfire, if you have a couple people who all wanna DJ. This also suck since after tossing a couple cold ones back, everyone thinks they know the next “best” song. What’s really cool is that one device can be streaming media, and the next device can then take a conference call on it – so stream away at the next “board room” meeting of your startup company, and then take a call from the boss to convince him/her that you were all still working. The sound is excellent for a mini Bluetooth speaker –
When JBL says on their website that the JBL Flip 3 sound fills a room, they mean quite literally. It’s amazing just how excellent the sound quality is from this little guy – definitely kills the competition in the price range. If you’ve been looking around for mini speakers in this price range look no further. The sound quality comes from the heavy duty magnets used in the speakers, and the fact that it’s running Bluetooth 4.0 – the fact that it’s splashproof (but don’t submerge it, fool) means that you can take it just about anywhere.
And the best part –
Is that it pairs easily – right out of the box. Just fire it up, locate it on your phone, and click away. It took literally seconds to figure out. There’s nothing I hate more than reading a bunch of instructions for a device I bought to make my life simpler. And, as if all that wasn’t enough – you can hook it with multiple JBL Flip 3 speakers. You read that right – go ahead and daisy chain multiple JBL Flip 3 Speakers, and rock out in every room of your house. For more information visit jbl.com
