Active headphones tend to over promise and under deliver. That’s why Sennheiser came out with their “sport” line of headphones – it’s designed for those of us who still want quality sound from a headphone that doesn’t fall out of your ear on the second step out of the front door (ahem – apple). With the MX85, Sennheiser manages to deliver on both accounts. We were curious to see what the “twist-to-fit” claim was all about, and it wasn’t anything like we expected – the ear bud has a separate “Arm” on top of the ear bud, which fits the curve of your ear. While it takes a little getting used to, after you get it to fit it literally isn’t going anywhere. Even after attempting to jostle it loose on everything from trail runs to mountain biking to snowboarding, it stayed firmly in place. As a bonus, it comes with three sets of adjustable ear pads to get the best fit. As for size, do not use this if you have small ears, as the plastic “Arm” is not removable. For everyone else – have at it! For more information on the MX85 Headphones and other Sennheiser products, please visit www.sennheiser.com or www.amazon.com/sennheiser.
