The Outside Inside Gifts Dome 2 in 1 Ladderball/Cornhole is a fun, simple, lightweight and rugged game to keep the kids (wait, who are we kidding?) to keep YOU entertained regardless of how long the camping trip is, or how long your friends stay over for tailgating and pre-game.

I included some items in my pictures so you could see the size of this game.  A standard propane bottle (it was in the back yard!) used as a size comparison. The game (put together) is not a small item, but does pack away quite nicely.  You can fit it into the sleeping bag wrap area on the bottom of your pack and it does not add too much weight.  The Outside Inside Gifts Dome 2 in 1 Ladderball/Cornhole game also goes together rather easily.  I must admit, when first opening the package, it was a tad confusing.  But, if you have ever put  up a modern tent, you will figure it out quickly.

The folks at Outside Inside Gifts made a nice product here and didn’t really cut any corners.  The holes for the cornhole part of the game (colored in above photo) have reinforced openings and are large enough that your hand does not get stuck retrieving the pieces.  This part of the game is also very challenging (more difficult than standard cornhole) since the holes are essentially vertical.  It would make good sense to increase the point values as the player goes up on the “board”.

The Ladderball side is also built well.  It includes “shock-corded” poles for each of the three “rungs” on the ladder giving it nice rigidity and, frankly, making that part challenging as well.  You can see (from the image below) they provide a handy little “pocket” for the pole to slide through keeping it secure and rigid for game-play.

On the game I tested, the top pole (yellow) was a smidge too long for the sleeve, but that did not impact game-play at all.

The game includes “pouches” in which you place the ladderball pieces so you can play cornhole.  The only adjustment I would have made is to make these pouches more secure.  They have drawstrings, but a small clinch device (like on the waistband of most jackets) would be perfect and ensure the pieces do not fall out.  That said, after a couple games of cornhole, the pieces never really did fall out, but we were always tightening the strings.

The Outside Inside Gifts Dome 2 in 1 Ladderball/Cornhole is a fun, versatile game you can bring with you to the campsite, the tailgate party or just in the back yard.  It is kid/family friendly and seems to be built well enough to last.
