The Snow Peak Takibi Fire & Grill is a portable, modular, extremely durable fire pit and outdoor/camp grill that makes bringing fire to the outdoors much easier. Whether on your patio, at a car camping site, outside your teardrop trailer, or tailgating in a parking lot, this little powerhouse of a portable grill/fire pit should be on your ‘must have’ list.

Or maybe you have a hankerin’ for some s’mores. Easy-breezy, no matter how you intend you use this little grill/fire pit, it always seems to deliver.

Modular pieces

Picking up the Snow Peak Takibi Fire & Grill box for the first time will give a hint of its durability. Coming in at a solid 32 lbs., this fire pit is built to last.

Specifically, most of the weight is exactly where you want it, in the Pack & Carry Fireplace base itself. This provides a wildly stable base for your wood or charcoal as well as a foundation for any add-ons you’d like to place atop.

The grill base is so solid that if you’re on even remotely level ground you probably won’t need to apply the included Fireplace Base Plate, but it’s not a bad idea for safety. The legs gently sink into soft earth, sand, or grass due to the weight and give you a tasty platform to move forth with your flaming endeavors.

The Fireplace and Bridge of the Snow Peak Takibi Fire & Grill are made of durable stainless steel, so unless you’re planning to use this thing as target practice, you should be good to go for years to come.

What good is a portable fire pit if taking it along on your various trips and adventures is a pain in the rear? Not to worry, the Snow Peak Takibi Fire & Grill collapses down and packs into its canvas bag for just such a use case.

Setting this little fire pit up is a serious breeze…it’ll take you longer to unpack it from the box the first time than it will to set up in the wild. Tear down is just as easy, and just like that you’re in the car headed back to reality. Boo!

The canvas carrying bag is solid and has an additional mesh pocket to stow cooking utensils, spices, ukulele strings, whatever. The grab handles help offset the solid 32 lb. weight of this grill as you carry it from the car to your campsite. Those days of the old metal Coleman cooler handles digging into your palms as you lug the beast to your picnic area are long gone. The canvas is also thick enough to keep the grill from becoming an inside-the-car-missile as you Subaru-it down that unmaintained fire road.
