Looking for a base layer that not only performs like an all-star, but also makes you look like an all-star?  Look no further, the Dakine Throttle Crew is here for the rescue.  True to Dakine’s stylish flair, the Throttle Crew is one of the best looking base layers we’ve tested out this season.  Often times base layers are pretty basic, but the Throttle Crew is a base layer that stands out in the crowd.  Aside from style, the Throttle Crew is made of a 100% double knit polyester, allowing you to shed away moisture, not body heat.  It has two layers and is fairly form fitting and also comes with the AEGIS microbe shield anti bacterial fabric treatment, for you non-techies, it won’t hold in the stink. Testers at AGR liked the Dakine Thottle Crew for its performance and style, and if there were a con for this base layer, we would have to say it fits a tad small, making it hard to tuck in to prevent snow from getting in your pants.  That said, we suggest you size up.
