You might not be able to eat your cake and eat it too, but with the Merrell Cambrillo, you can have your hike and your microbrew too. It doesn’t get much better for us outdoorsy guys than going for a good hike and then heading back into town and throwing down a few wings and a few cold ones with friends. The Merrell Cabrillo is made of 100% polyester which allows you to stay dry while out on your hike due to polyester drying out quickly. We found this to be nice for the longer hikes in moderate temps, 55-75 degrees F, but when it gets super hot, it can be hard to keep the shirt dry all the time. One nice thing is that if you get too hot, you can always open up a few buttons on the shirt to air out.
Although you may not always smell the best after your adventure, the Merrell Cambrillo will keep you looking your best. It has a nice streamlined fit and stylish two toned stripes. We found that even even if we weren’t out exploring, the Cambrillo was a popular item in our closet. Coming in at $59, the Merrell Cambrillo is in the middle of the road as far as prices for this type of shirt. Two chest pockets, one with a zip and the other with out, are convenient but not overly dorky. Look for the Cambrillo in a store near you this spring.
