The Jenna Skirt in Coral Malibu
prAna’s Jenna Skirt should make your ‘must have list’ for summer travel. The Jenna is perfect for traveling because of its’ versatility. For starters’ the Jenna takes up little to no space in your pack. Next, when you are ready to wear the skirt- simply slip in on and by the time you are ready to attack your day, any and all wrinkles have disappeared. The Jenna skirt can also be dressed up or down, depending on your activity. For a night on the town, simply slip on a pair of strappy sandals and a dressy solid colored top or tank. For active outings, the skirt performs well thanks to prAna’s very own Veeda performance fabric. The Jenna skirt can then be paired with any of prAna’s active tops made also from this fabric. Veeda is comprised of recycled polyester, traditional polyester, and spandex to provide a smooth, breathable, and non-pilling fabric. The fabric is therefore easy to care for: I have washed on the cold cycle and hung it up to dry outside. After a few washes, the bright colors have remained true and the skirt has retained its’ shape.
The Jenna Skirt is available in sizes XS to XL. I ordered a size small, based on the size guide, and I feel that it runs true to size. The length of the skirt is perfect for me as well. I am on the taller side, and the 18” outseam hits just above my knee. At times, smaller sizes equal shorter skirt, based on my height, but fortunately that was not the case with this skirt. The Jenna features a nice flat, contrasting color (depending on pattern) waistband and a seamless design for the body of the shirt.
I tested out the Jenna Skirt in Coral Malibu and loved pairing it with my favorite white, gray, or black tops. The skirt really pops and can serve as the focal point of your outfit. The Jenna is also available in Gravel Flower Power, which utilizes a warm yellow accent color to brighten and liven up the skirt. While the Gravel Malibu is primarily gray and black, by far the most tame of the patterned Jenna Skirt options. I love the purple, teal, and green hues featured in the Waterfall Malibu pattern- making it perfect for traveling to a tropical destination. And of course, if you are looking for a basic black skirt to pair with just about anything in your pack or suitcase, the Jenna is also available in all black.
The Jenna retails for $55. Not a bad price for a skirt that can really go anywhere with you. For more information on the Jenna Skirt and other prAna products, visit www.prAna.com or www.amazon.com/prAna.
