Traveling this fall has been made easier thanks to the Nadia dress by prAna. The Nadia dress is ready for just about any occasion within a few minutes of pulling it from your pack-carry-on or suitcase. The Nadia achieves this simplistic style thanks to a perfect balance of rayon made from bamboo, organic cotton, and spandex (67%, 28%, 5%). The addition of spandex makes the dress wrinkle resistant and helps the dress to move with you and retain its’ shape after multiple hours of wear. The cotton and rayon combo is super soft against your skin and the balance between the two makes this piece super easy to wash and wear when in the bathroom while traveling.
The Nadia dress features a crossover neckline that gathers slightly along the left side seam. For those with A, B, or C cup sizes, the neckline does not seem overly revealing. Unfortunately, I can not speak to how this may fit for larger breasted women, but I anticipate that the stretchy nature of the stress is likely to accommodate most figures. The dress features cuffed sleeves that hit just above the elbow. I have pretty broad shoulders, yet a smaller waist and was hesitant to order a size small. However, according to the size chart that is what I should wear and I was pleased to find that the dress fits in all of the right places. Like I mentioned before, the fabric combination makes this dress very comfortable to wear, as it moves with you. The dress hits about 4 inches above the knee on me and features a 36″ length from the top of the shoulder for a size medium. The model below, makes the dress seem much shorter than it really is. But as I always say, try before you buy.
prAna’s Nadia dress comes in black, cinnamon (photo above), and rain-a soft light blue. I tried out the Nadia in black and couldn’t be happier with this color selection because of its’ simple, classic look. The Nadia is a nice transition piece for the in-between season, while also remaining in the wardrobe rotation come winter. This fall, I have worn the Nadia with bare legs and sandals on warmer occasions. I have also stuck a pair of my favorite leggings underneath for more casual use and when temps are more variable. Come winter, I plan to wear my tall boots or add some fun tights.
With a price tag of only $69.99, this is quite a deal for a dress that can be worn on many different outings. For more information on the Nadia Dress and other prAna products, visit www.prAna.com or www.amazon.com/prAna.
