Raw Denim Jeans by Cadence Collection Review
First Impressions of Raw Denim Jeans By Cadence Collection:
If you want a stylish pair of jeans that are functional and will literally last a lifetime, check out these raw denim jeans by Cadence Collection! I can’t say enough about these jeans even though at first I was reluctant to even try these out. I’m not a “tight jeans” kind of guy and I certainly have never worn raw denim, so I just thought these were not going to be great for me long term. As it turns out I wear these jeans as much as possible (without looking like the guy that never changes clothes)!
The jeans looked great right out of the package and on the first touch, I finally felt what raw denim feels like…and it’s rough, I must say. To put it bluntly, I was turned off by how rough they were at first, but now after wearing them so many times, I actually like the feel. With more wears they will soften and fit me better and better which is the whole concept behind Cadence Collection jeans. On first inspection I noticed the thicker reinforced seat patch on the back, the roughness, and the overall clean lines to the jeans. All their jeans come with a 32″ inseam which I knew would be an issue but I wear them cuffed up one roll and they look pretty good! I had my hesitations for these jeans so I just had to commit to trying them on and wearing the crap out of them!
Performance of Raw Denim Jeans by Cadence Collection:
They were tight when I first pulled them up I’m not gonna lie but they don’t look overly tight when I’m wearing them. I normally wear much looser jeans, so I think part of what I was perceiving as ‘tight’ was just me having to get used to a different fit. A major feature of the raw denim jeans by Cadence Collection is the taper legs. They designed these tapered for those who ride bikes and want a functional yet stylish pair of jeans to wear while riding a bike. The reinforced seat patch speaks to that point as well. I live in the city and ride my bike all over even to dinner and out with friends. I’ll ride downtown when the weather is nice and these jeans are perfect for that because the bottoms don’t have a chance of getting snagged in the chain. Great idea and a great feature that Cadence Collection added!
The reinforced seat patch on the back ensures that the seat won’t be wearing out anytime soon no matter how much you ride your bike in them. As a matter of fact it’s patented because the design is so unique. They make the seat even more durable by adding a double backed seat pocket for the two back pockets. You can feel the reinforcement while wearing the jeans.
The fit of the jeans were tighter for sure and more tight than I am used to like I stated earlier. However, they look great and function like they are designed. I have larger calves from biking and running so I really feel the tighter areas down there, and given that the legs are tapered, that only makes sense. So, be sure to put your socks on first, and then your raw denim jeans because it does make it harder to get socks on under the tighter bottom. Sizing wise, they are pretty true to form. I ordered a 33 but I could wear a 32 normally but I wanted a slightly larger size because I knew they would be tighter and I didn’t want them to be overly tight on my upper thighs. Sizing one up made a great difference because I have some breathing room now.

Final Thoughts on Raw Denim Jeans by Cadence Collection:
These jeans are awesome! They are feeling more comfortable after each day I wear them. This is the idea behind raw denim. Wear them as much as possible (or as much as your friends can tolerate) and they say only wash them when you have to. The color is great and it goes with pretty much any color shirt, so you’ll always look good. The functionality of the pants as they relate to biking is also a huge plus for me. Cadence Collection makes great products for bikers and these jeans are one of them. I was very happy to see this innovation from them. The elimination of snagging my jeans in the chain of the bike really tells me that these guys thought through the design. I’ll never have to worry about that again while wearing pants. With a zipper fly and raw denim jeans built in the USA, who could go wrong with these. I highly recommend them to any biker or person that wants to have some stylish jeans!
