Swrve Hiding Hoodie Review
The Swrve Hiding Hoodie – for your reviewing pleasure
Meet Swrve (yes, I spelled that correctly) – a company that’s as passionate about being comfortable on your bike as you are about, well… I don’t know that you’re actually that passionate about anything. The good folks over at Swrve spend day and night thinking about making clothes that not only fit well on the bike… but function well, too. Take the Swrve Hiding Hoodie, for instance – it’s tailored specifically to cover your hind regions (no one needs/wants to see your BC while you pedal over to your local Craft Brew manufacturer of choice) when bent over the handlebars. The fabric is a blend of cotton/modal. If, like me, you were wondering just what the h*ll modal is, take a look at the Swrve website – modal is a fabric derived from beechwood trees, and it’s used to make the Swrve Hiding Hoodie comfortable. You may like the sweat wicking properties of your favorite tech tee, but do you really want to wear it all day? They fixed that problem by blending it with cotton; I’ve actually been wearing mine all day and have no complaints. Make sure to follow the washing instructions, though – modal tends to shrink a bit I’ve found. Good thing I have a short torso.
- Washing Instructions – don’t ignore them.
- Long in the back, short in the front – like your favorite throwback mullet.
- Because who doesn’t need a pouch?
The Swrve Hiding Hoodie comes in multiple colors at the bargain price of $45.00, so head on over to the Swrve Website to check them out for yourself. It’s a fairly tailored fit, so if you’re thinking you’ve got the shoulders of an average NFL linebacker, you may want to size up. Ladies – even though most of Swrve’s designs could go either way (AC/DC) – this one’s sized for boys. If you’re boy sized or offended by that comment then just go ahead and order one anyway. Don’t blame it on Swrve.
