Toad&Co got it right with the Jetlite Pant. The Jetlite Pant is a stretchy, lightweight, breathable, quick drying, wrinkle resistant, and an incredibly comfortable pair of pants. I really could go on and on with adjectives to describe all of the qualities I love about these pants. I recently went on a trip to Italy and the Toad&Co Jetlite Pants were the favorite item that I packed.
Toad&Co Jetlite Pant Fabric
The Jetlite Pant features 95% polyester and 5% spandex. The fabric is lightweight and allows you to wear the pants in a variety of temperatures. The Jetlite Pant features a UPF 40 rating which means that you can keep your legs protected from the elements while keeping your cool. In addition to protection from the sun, Toad&Co has included a DWR finish, which allows water to bead off of the pants. On our trip to Italy, we found ourselves in late afternoon downpours and they kept me dry while hopping around town. The fabric combination does all of this while coming from a bluesign® system partner.
The Toad&Co Jetlite Pant fabric looks good right after taking them out of the suitcase and can be easily worn multiple days in a row without looking worse for the wear. If you do feel the need to clean them, they are easily washed in a sink and dry over night. I tested the Jetlite Pant in black and found them easy to pair with t-shirts, sweaters, and scarves to maximize my traveling wardrobe potential without weighing down my bag.

Toad&Co Jetlite Pant Features and Fit
Available in size XS to XL, the Jetlite Pant runs true to size when compared to the size guide with appropriate measurements taken. If you were to compare the Toad&Co sizes to “standard” sizes, I always feel that they are a bit generous. I wear between a size 4 and 6 based on the size guide and found the size small to fit the bill perfectly.
The Toad&Co Jetlite Pant features a 29″ inseam, which means they look great with a pair of sandals or flats. I even rolled them up to capris and the cuff held thanks to a tapering at the ankle. They also feature a flat waistband with elastic in the rear, making them super comfortable for long days of wearing, for example a trans-Atlantic flight. The Jetlite Pant also feature two front stash pockets and a rear zippered pocket. The front pockets are rather shallow and I wouldn’t place any items of importance within them as the contents tends to fall out when you sit down. The rear zippered pocket is great when you are on the move, but it is hard to remove the items or unzip the zipper without using two hands.

Sporting the Toad&Co Jetlite Pant in Manarola, Italy
Pros
- Ideal for travel as they do not wrinkle
- Dry quickly, easy to clean and care for
- Comfortable for on the go adventures
- Can be dressed up or down and features a flattering fit
Cons
- Shallow front pockets, can’t accommodate a phone and I wouldn’t recommend storing anything of value in them as the contents can easily spill out when you sit down
- More color options would be great!
- Fabric can get clingy with static in dryer climates.
