Go ahead, smile. You almost have to. I can get all serious talking about technical features and thread counts, but what fun would that be. MyPakage has built a very nice product around a simple concept, all the while their brand marketing machine has hit upon something of a gold mine. And let’s face it? The family jewels are worth it. Sorry, I can’t help myself…..
The creators of MyPakage didn’t simply set out to make some underwear. They created a business philosophy and a brand to make the best underwear that you can find. They did this by making the most comfortable, best fitting, very supportive, and a quite stylish piece of underwear. The one message which has stuck with me the entire time I’ve been testing MyPakage is how “We changed the way men think – and talk – about underwear.” I have been telling everyone about MyPakage 🙂

First Thoughts about MyPakage
I don’t know if it’s ever been said, but this underwear actually inspires confidence. First of all, there’s a very soothing fit around the legs. The fabric moves as you do, and doesn’t matter if you are running, in a downward dog yoga pose, or simply sitting at your office desk; it doesn’t ride up (at least it hasn’t for me). Extra fabric and cotton pushing and pulling every which way are now a thing of the past.
The appearance is what really helps to boost this confidence. They say size doesn’t matter, but in this case, the package is being accentuated, propped up, or put on display. Not that I am strutting around showing off MyPakage, but knowing that I have a well secured and highlighted package makes me feel good. My wife is also impressed, so everyone is happy.
Your traditional tighty whities or boxers have a sleeve or opening that lines up with your pant zipper to aid in doing your bathroom business. I have never had much use for that opening as I simply pulled my underpants down. These do not have that opening, and I am glad they didn’t try to incorporate one. The integrity of the pocket and MyPakage would have taken a hit. And who want to take a hit below the belt anyway.
MyPakage underwear is constructed with a shrink free fabric that is breathable and moisture absorbing. Many of the models are constructed with 95% modal and 5% spandex. Modal is a type of rayon, a semi-synthetic cellulose fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose, in this case, often from beech trees.

Keyhole Comfort Technology
The Keyhole Comfort Technology is a pocket, pouch, or sleeve, and what makes MyPakage truly THE diamond in the rough. The stitching on the outside sets up the pocket so to speak. There is an extra sleeve pocket on the inside that cradles said package, and keeps it from getting tossed about, scrunched, or pushed to the side.
The KeyHole allows for special treatment so to speak for you package. No matter your size, shape, or form, the opening allows for proper placement, a secure pocket to keep your boy in place, without feeling constricted. And that is critical. As much as I’ve been raving about this underwear’s pocket, my wife was pretty non-chalant about it all. As she put it, “women have had specifically sized designed bras for ages”. It’s about time my boys got some respect I say.
Running tights, bike shorts, compression shorts, you name it, they work really well when taking part in your favorite activities. They all create for a tight and compressed package that can get uncomfortable after a while. The MyPakage line keeps things in their place with a Keyhole Comfort Technology. This prevents movement, but not at the expense of blood circulation. No more shifting or adjusting in the field of play.

These are stylish, slick, dressy, comfy, and racy all in one. I wore them for the first time on a Saturday because, hey, it is a WeekEnd boxer afterall. Pretty busy all day running around, and with my family obligations out of the way, I got an hour and half hour window to myself. Out the door running and managed to get a speedy 10.5 miles in with my dog, Moab. I didn’t bother put on my fancy running shorts, so this was a pretty good first test. I kid you not, I forgot about what I was wearing. It was 55, sunny, no wind, and I am running in Denver in the middle of January. As I am jumping in the shower, I realized that I had worn this pair as my baselayers. No rubbing or chafing. No unnecessary bouncing. Nothing whatsoever! These WeekEND Boxer Briefs aren’t meant for running, but they worked really well.

The MyPakage WeekDAY is a great all-around option, and will probably be my go-to option out of this quad squad. The comfort is phenomenal first and foremost. The Keyhole Comfort Technology allows for a great fit. It doesn’t matter if you are wearing jeans, slacks, or khakis, the feeling and above mentioned confidence puts an extra spring in your step. I am definitely adding a few more of these to my collection. Funny, I am now referring to my underwear as a collection.

MyPakage PRO Base Layer

I own a skin tight pair of bike pants for winter riding. The PRO Base Layer goes great underneath for temperatures that dip below 30 degrees especially when you factor in the wind chill created by going 20+ mph. I manage to ride pretty much all winter here along the Front Range of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. There are a few days with snow and ice that prevents that, but with our sunshine burning that off, a ride is usually a good option. The wind, however, will do its thing no matter what, and this PRO Base Layer worked great in keeping my legs nice and warm. They even provided a slight bit of compression which also aided in blood flow, and ultimately my performance to hang with those fast young guns. I have also worn these for skiing with my wind and waterproof pants. My ski pants are not insulated, and the PRO Base Layer added just the right amount of warmth to keep my comfortable on the very windy slopes of Copper Mountain.

I have been skiing for 28 years, and for probably 27 of those years, I’ve been waiting for a base layer like this. Aside from the Keyhole Comfort Technology, having the bottoms of these pants stop below the knee and midway up the calf is pure genius! Boots and socks have come a long way since the mid 1990’s, but usually the boot, sock, and base layer combination are too thick and create an uncomfortable friction. After a long day on the mountain where my lower legs are not aching is something I have yet to experience.
Until now that is. The very advanced features of today’s ski socks allow for them to be nice and thin, warm, and breathable. That thinness combined with the form fitting boots allows for a perfect match. No extra base layer getting in the way makes for a perfect glove-like….boot-like fit. A work trip to Salt Lake City provided for a great day at Solitude Mountain to take these out. They had not seen any significant snowfall in recent weeks, so it was all hard packed groomers. This means a lot of fast sweeping turns where I am really leaning into my boots. No sore shins this time around, and it really is the little things that matter.

Final Thoughts on MyPakage
This is probably the most glowing review I’ve ever written! The one knock I have for one of the selections is the tag along the waistband just above the rear (I’m sorry, I’m almost done with the puns) was a bit scratchy. Word has it that the tag may be eliminated or redesigned which would be nice. Aside from that, the MyPakage line of underwear and base layers deserves all the accolades I have bestowed upon them. The only thing for you to do is bite the bullet, and get yourself some. Seriously dude, you have to try this underwear. I am a much happier man for it.
