SmartWool NTS Lightweight Boxer Review
For those of us that love to get into the outdoors and also love their gear, some outsiders might call us addicts. We need to have the wicking shorts, pants, long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, socks, shoes, and the list goes on. And why do we need all this gear outsiders might ask, well that answer is easy. We need it all because we want to be able to enjoy all of our activities to the max. It’s a pretty simple concept, if you use the right gear and wear the right clothes, you will simply enjoy your activity that much more.
Often times a lot of guys have all the top clothing that adds up to at least a few hundred dollars while out on the trails. One thing that many of us forget about is typically the closest thing to us. Underwear! I am guilty just as many other guys are, I wear cotton boxers from time to time while hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, etc. I have been testing out the SmartWool NTS Lightweight Boxers over the past few months on all my outdoor activities and I don’t know how I went so long without a pair. After a long day or activities, I am usually pretty dry on all parts of my body as I wear a lot of moisture wicking clothing. Everything is fairly dry, except for my cotton boxers which I don’t know why I overlooked it. One reason could be the price as I am one that doesn’t like to spend more than $5 on a pair of boxers. Yes, I am cheap! And although cheapness does have its positives, I also do think there are certain things worth splurging on. Now at $50 a pair, I am not going to go and replace all my boxers, but I think having a few pairs of moisture wicking boxers such as the SmartWool NTS Lightweight boxers is a must.
As most guys wear their boxers until they become inadvertently sheer, we all know a pair of boxers can often last 5+ years. Now break 5 years down to the amount of uses you can get out of these boxers and the price tag is not so bad. So next time you think it’s time to replace an old pair of boxers or you just want to treat yourself, be sure to check out the SmartWool NTS Lightweight Boxer.
