Polarmax puts a new spin on long underwear. The polarmax Zipmock technical base layer provides maximum comfort out of wool by blending it with acclimate dry polyester, for a fit that’s both comfortably warm and moisture wicking. As a base layer, it was up to the task of both chilly morning runs and winter snow adventures. The key piece that makes it most comfortable for activities is the merino wool which makes it soft and moisture wicking. To keep the funk from building up in the shirt, Polarmax has added their patented anti-microbial SCENTPREVENT. We know you all wash ALL of your active gear religiously (not really) but if you find yourself needing to use the sniff test because you overslept your alarm and your ride is waiting outside your window, this base layer should get you through the day. When washing, it lived up to it’s promise – no special care for the wool needed, which made this one an instant favorite among testers. Aside from it’s active uses, we also found the Polarmax Zipmock to be a pretty good looking shirt with a pair of jeans, making this shirt a great multi-tasker.
