Helly Hansen’s Women’s Pace Singlet is a sporty, attractive, and functional top that should be added to your wardrobe. Every time I hit the trails in the Colorado Mountains I find myself putting on my Pace Singlet.
The Pace Singlet is ultra-light. There is nothing worse than on a 90+ degree day wearing something that is heavy and bulky. The Pace Singlet will not weigh you down throughout your entire run because it feels like you don’t even have it on!
Helly Hansen’s own CoolTM with Lifa fabric helps me stay cool and dry for miles. I found my sweat being wicked away quickly and my skin stayed consistently dry throughout my longer runs. I love the air circulation and venting feature on the Pace Singlet. The tiny holes throughout the entire singlet offer amazing circulation and aids in the staying cool and dry factor.
The Pace Singlet is not just about its functionality. Helly Hansen had women in mind when they were designing this singlet. The Pace Singlet has an attractive and unique racer-back and the tire striping down the backside offers some added flare. The Pace Singlet also has flat lock wide stitching down the front to enhance your girl curves. I really like this added styling, however, when you are not so fortunate on the girl curve side, it is not quite as flattering as it should be. The cut of the Pace Singlet keeps arm chafing to a minimum and the flatlock stitching throughout the singlet helps keep pinching and unwanted chafing away as well. The only reflective property on the Pace Singlet is the Helly Hansen logo on the back.
Helly Hansen added a UV protection factor to the Pace Singlet. The singlet has a UPF of 30+. It is really nice to have protection from the sun to ward off harmful UV rays on your clothing. UV protection in outdoor wear has become increasingly popular and it is an added bonus feature on the Pace Singlet.
Helly Hansen’s sizing is a little off on this singlet. I can typically wear a small in all tops and I received a medium in the Pace Singlet. The medium fits snug on me. According to the sizing chart and my measurements, I should be a small. So please take sizing into consideration before purchasing.
The Pace Singlet comes in 4 different colors and comes in sizes XS-XL. In all, I would have to say I really love the Pace Singlet. It keeps me cool, dry, and looking good on my runs.
