The Lole Romp Capri is made from technical fabrics that are suited for the trail, yet the cut and styling of the capri hold their own in the city as well. The Romp Capris are comprised of 84% recycled polyester which allows you to not feel too guilty about buying another piece of gear. The remaining ingredients for these super comfy pants is elastane, which helps these pants to move with you whether performing a downward facing dog or hiking with the dogs.
Our tester found that these pants are best suited for low impact, or low sweating activities. She found that the pants stick to your skin and get a little heavy with perspiration when pushing your heart rate up on the trail or at the gym. She also felt that the sizing was a tad generous; she tested out a medium and felt that she would have normally purchased a large based on the product description. However, our tester was 5’8″ with a 33 inch inseam and states that the length was perfect for her, something she doesn’t always see due to her leg length. In addition, due to the inclusion of elastane, these pants stretch out a bit if worn for a few hours or not washed in between wears.
Additional features include an adjustable draw cord hidden beneath the flat waistband and along the leg bottoms, which allows you to change the look of the pants and get a more contoured fit. Our tester liked that the pants sit low on the waist and have two front stash pockets and an additional zip pocket for valuables such as a car key. Our tester reported that these pants were best suited for either yoga or pilates, while also making a great bottom for traveling because they resist wrinkling and dry quickly. The Lole Romp Capri is available in black (the color we tested), steel gray, and grape juice and retails for $69.96. For more information, please visit https://www.lolelife.com/
Shannon, our fabulous female tester, takes gear testing to a new level for women. When not at work or school, she is most likely training for a marathon, climbing one of Colorado’s tallest peaks, riding her road bike, or skiing down a mountain slope. Like many women, Shannon gets cold easily, therefore, we try to test the best all weather gear to help her stay warm and dry during all day outdoor pursuits. In the warmer months, Shannon enjoys exploring the Colorado backcountry with her friends and dogs and attempts to escape for as many trail runs as her schedule allows. Shannon is a great women’s tester because she gives readers true insight into how a product may perform for an active woman.
