Even though they are not a household name, Sof Sole has been around in the performance sock market for over 20 years. Sof Sole carries a wide selection of socks as well as insoles for most active pursuits. I have been wearing the Sof Sole FIT for the last month or so, and I have found this to be one of my new favorite socks. While Sof Sole offers a lineup of socks for your specific sport or activity, the Sof Sole FIT is their multipurpose sock suitable for all of your athletic endeavors.
Being someone with high arches, my absolute favorite part of this this sock is the arch band that pulls tight around your foot. I have gone through many socks over the years that start to stretch out along the midfoot after just a few uses. When putting these on for the first time, you can tell the arch band is well constructed.
Sof Sole FIT Fabric
The Sof Sole FIT is made of 53% Olefin, 41% Nylon, and 6% Spandex. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Olefin is a synthetic fiber which is known for being durable, lightweight and moisture wicking. To give you an idea of just how durable, it is also used as the main fabric for outdoor carpets (but don’t worry, the sock is actually comfortable). As with most performance socks these days, the Sof Sole FIT did not retain any moisture, even on long runs.
The low-cut sock comes up over the ankle and stays tight around the leg, keeping debris out. It also has seamless toe construction, and while it does not have separate right and left foot designs, I did not notice any bunching along the toes.
Final thoughts
Overall, I enjoyed the comfort of the fabric and the stability that came with the arch band. I plan to keep these until the threads wear out. For more information, visit www.amazon.com/sofsole.
