Sugoi Turbo Tri Short Review
The Turbo Tri Short from Sugoi is a no-nonsense triathlon short and a great value. The construction of this short features 6 panels and fits exceptionally well. The Matrix fabric of the Turbo Short is just compressive enough but not restrictive at all. We tested this short in training and racing situations and found it to excel in both- we were impressed at the protection provided by the TriLite chamois without it ever feeling soggy after swimming or noticeable on the run. The Turbo features Sugoi’s signature leg gripper which is very grippy and will satisfy those that like a short that stays in place from swim to bike to run. Overall, we were very happy with the Turbo Tri Short- particularly the great value that it certainly is. After a season of hard use, we did notice foam from the chamois deteriorating and coming through the material on the outside of the short, but the Matrix fabric held up incredibly well.
