Green-and-Gold St. Patrick’s Day Tribute is a Runner’s Lucky CharmBrooks Running Company debuts this year’s St. Patrick’s Day themed shoe, the Launch 6 Shamrock Shoe. Inspired by symbols of good luck, the spirit of the holiday and the runners who celebrate it, the limited-edition Brooks Launch 6 Shamrock Shoe will be available beginning Feb. 21 at retailers and online at brooksrunning.com. 
“We wanted to up the ante on this year’s shamrock shoe, so we incorporated new design elements that will inspire runners and provide an extra dose of good luck for their St. Patty’s Day Dashes, weekday runs, and anywhere else their shoes take them,” said Brice Newton, director of footwear merchandising. “The use of horseshoes is new this year, which we blend with four-leaf clovers and eye-catching uses of green and gold for a shoe that will deliver an energized, Run Happy experience this holiday and beyond.”
The Launch 6 features a new engineered, one-piece mesh upper and internal bootie for a breathable and lightweight fit. The shoe’s BioMoGo DNA midsole and rebounding rubber outsole offer a springy feel underfoot while a Midfoot Transition Zone gets the runner from heel to toe quickly. The upper of the Launch 6 Shamrock Shoe has multiple symbols of good luck iconic to the holiday including four-leaf clovers and horseshoes. An all-over tonal green coloring features plaid accents on the heel collar and tongue which add extra St. Patrick’s Day flare. To round out the shoe’s festive look, gold is used on the tongue, heel counter, Brooks logo and midsole while the words “Run Lucky” appear on the heel to wish runners good luck not matter where their shoes take them.
