Chaco Flippin Chill Ecotread Review
With Flip Flop season getting into full swing, it’s time to check last year’s flip flops to see if they pass the smell test and can I wear these out in public test. If you find yourself in the boat of needing a new pair of flip flops, it’s worth taking a look at the Chaco Flippin Chill flops. The Chaco Flillin Chill’s are leather flip flops that not only make you look good, but they offer a good arch support as well. Walking in flip flops everyday in the warmer months is one of my favorite things to do, but as I have added a few years to my age, I have begun to appreciate having a little bit of arch support in my flip flops. It not only is more comfortable, but it also helps keep your arch from flattening out. For those people who need a good arch support, Chaco footwear has been a go-to shoe sandal and flip flop for many. The arch support system is called LUVSEAT™ and if you are more interested in the technology and benefits, you can see more here
Continuing with Chaco’s commitment to a sustainable planet, up to 25% of the outsole is made of recycled material. The leather on the Flippin Chill is super soft and comfortable, it’s like sliding your feet into a little piece of heaven. As with all flip flops and sandals, it takes a few days to break in the Flippin Chill. So if you are trying them on at the store and think they aren’t super comfy, keep it mind the day or two break in process. In the past, I have owned a pair of Chaco flip flops similar to the Flippin Chill and they lasted about 3 years with heavy use. This is pretty standard when it comes to leather flip flops. The Chaco Flippin Chill Ecotread flip flops come in whole sizes only and retail for $75. For more information, please visit Chacos.com
