I enjoyed the personalized thank you note in the box that was signed by Mr. Frank Van Wezel, the Chairman of HI-Tec Inspired by Life. The message was wholesome and green. Which is everything the company stands for and what I believe in.
My Hi-Tec Thomas Boot 200 I came in the Red Blanket print which I loved since I enjoy vibrant and bold colors. The boot colors are a combination of navy, browns, creams with a pop of red. The lases are brown and blend into the color scheme appropriately. There is a brown Hi-Tech circular leather emblem on the front of the boot.
As advertised Hi-Tech footwear provides an innovative take on the outdoor lifestyle for women, combining durability and comfort for casual to more adventurous outings. I wore my boots on many different occasions and received an abundance of compliments. Some referencing color others commenting on quality and comfort appeal.

The exterior of the Thomas Boot incorporates i-shield hydrophobic technology to resist water and 200 grams of Thinsulate™ insulation for warmth. There is a cozy and moisture-wicking micro-fleece interior. A cushioned OrthoLite® sockliner that provides all day comfort, support, breathability and odor-control. The boot has a durable EVA outsole that provides secure traction and a cushioned step. Hi-Tech’s Ghillie and D-ring lacing system on this Thomas Boot reaches mid-calf.

My Hi-Tec Thomas Boot 200 I has been worn on many occasions because of it’s versatility. I enjoyed wearing this boot when we vacationed in Crested , CO in the beginning of October. The fall weather with temperatures in the mid 60’s during the day and low 50’s at night was perfect for my boots. My feet stayed warm thanks to the Thinsulate insulation, and the Ortholite sockliner provided the comfort and breathability my feet needed when temps were higher mid-day. I walked the city streets, went on a family hike, and enjoyed dinner out all in the same day while continuing to wear my Thomas Boot. In addition, on several occasions I wore my Hi -Tec Thomas Boot 200 I to work. I am in the medical profession, so I have to dress up when in the office setting. I just matched my boots to my outfit! I really enjoy the vibrant and bold colors of my Thomas Boots Red Blanket print so I would just accessorize with a single colored non-print shawl that matched my boots. That’s where I got most of my compliments, from my patients. On the days I would wear my Thomas boots they would tell me how lovely my boots looked and “oh how comfy”. A women loves to get compliments!
The Hi -Tec Thomas Boot 200 I is only offered in whole sizes. I normally wear a 7.5, but I sized up for this boot. It was comfortable but I probably should have sized down as the boot fit slightly on the larger side.

The 200 grams of Thinsulate™ insulation provides warmth while the moisture-wicking micro-fleece interior and the OrthoLite® sockliner give all day comfort, support, breathability and odor-control. The EVA outsole has traction and a cushioned step. Overall as advertised Hi-Tec provides an innovative take on the outdoor lifestyle while combining durability and comfort for casual and adventurous outings.
Hands down I would wear my Hi-Tec Thomas Boot for all sorts of occasions ranging from casual street walking, taking a family hike, going out for a casual dinner, running the kids to and from activities and even wearing my boots to dress up my work outfits. This boot is very versatile. I love it!
