When out on a backpacking trip, there are times when it’s nice to have a little extra support. We’ve been out backpacking in the Colorado backcountry testing out the Spenco PolySorb Backpacking Series and found these insoles to do a pretty good job when it came to extra cushioning and support. They also do a good job if you’re foot is floating a little too much in your boot. Since they are a little thicker than the insoles your shoes come with, it gives less room for your foot to move around. These are also nice if you have a pair of older boots that you want to make last for another season. The insoles that come in most shoes will last for a little while, but if you are putting a lot of miles or added weight, it suggested to use a pair of insoles. Spenco gets our stamp of approval.
