Tecnica Forge: A Thermo-Moldable Hiking Boot

Tecnica Outdoor launched the Forge Collection of trekking boots that combine a precise anatomical fit right out-of-the box with effective heat-moldable customization capabilities in specialty retailers across the country. The Tecnica Forge collection features a technology new to footwear, Custom Adaptive Shape or C.A.S., that offers a fully heat moldable customization process resulting in a personalized fit in 20 minutes. The C.A.S. technology was first used in Tecnica’s alpine ski boots.

The Forge Collection is offered in two models for men and women: the Forge GTX  with a nubuck upper, and Forge S GTX, with a proprietary synthetic upper. Additional information on Tecnica Outdoor Forge Collection can be found at www.rei.com/tecnica.
