Revo Bearing Sunglasses
After staring into sun glare on a trout stream for eight hours, an angler will realize the importance of quality eyewear. Revo Bearing Sunglasses with their high performance Green Water lens are comfortable and easy to wear for the long haul. Over the past month I’ve had the chance to field test these sunglasses with the Greenwater Lens in situations ranging from fly fishing to trail running.
Revo Bearing Sunglasses Performance
In fishing the rod is most important. A close second would be quality eyewear. Revo Bearing Sunglasses have impressed me over the past month in many fishing and non fishing outings. I am a tough critic of eyewear and expect that my outdoor experience should be enhanced from them. The characteristics of sunglasses that affect their performance are fit, comfort, wearability, and most importantly, the ability of the lens to enhance the experience.

Revo Bearing Sunglasses Front
The Revo Bearing Sunglasses are great for maximum sun coverage. Each lens is large and fits snugly against the face blocking out any glare. Often sunglasses leave a small gap on the underside which allows reflected light to enter. Stray light is what makes spotting a trout in the river nearly impossible. The Bearing sunglasses fit exceptionally well for maximum coverage and reduce stray light from reaching your eyes.

Revo Bearing Sunglasses fit
The spring hinges of the sunglasses keep the glasses comfortably in place, even when running and biking. After wearing the Revo Bearing Sunglasses for eight hours, I still found them comfortable and the nosepiece never pressed into my face. The Bearing frames are so lightweight that often I’d forget I was wearing them.

Revo Bearing Sunglasses Hinge
Possibly the greatest attribute of Revo Sunglasses is the exceptional lens lineup. I tested the Revo’s Greenwater lens with the Bearing Sunglasses frame. The Greenwater Lens is Tera (brown/red) color with a metallic green outer layer.

This particular combination of frame and lens is perfect for many outdoor activities. The Greenwater lens is marked for low to medium light activities such as running, stream fishing, golf, and mountain biking. With so much versatility these lenses could easily be the mainstay of every outdoor enthusiast. I find the Greenwater lens work well for almost every activity I enjoy from fishing to running. I recently wore these lenses on a ten hour river float and never had eye strain or a headache from squinting.

The one exception was during exceptionally bright conditions. In sunny days on the snow, I found that this lens would let a little too much light in. Revo does have the Bluewater lens which is targeted for bright light. I will be reviewing these lenses soon in my next sunglasses review.
Revo Bearing Sunglasses Final Thoughts
The Revo Bearing Sunglasses with the Greenwater lens are perfect eye protection for the outdoor enthusiast. The exceptional fit of the sunglasses allows the person wearing them to be comfortable all day long in a wide range of activities. It is time to take to the outdoors while taking care of your eyes with the Revo Bearing Sunglasses.
