The completely new Puma Complete Ventis is hitting the streets this spring. This ultra-plush premium cushioning shoe is intended for neutral runners looking for a luxurious ride for pounding out the miles. Puma utilizes several different midsole foams in concert with CELL material, an OrthoLite sock liner and an ArchTec bridge to create a super comfortable ride that will keep you comfortable even on your longest training runs. The upper is comprised of reflective reinforcements for visibility and breathable mesh which provide a great fit and great comfort. Our testers wore this shoe on weekend endurance runs and were impressed with the midsole’s shock-absorbing properties which didn’t seem to decline after hours of pounding. If anything, some faster, lighter neutral runners might find the Ventis to be just too much shoe. Puma has made great strides in development of their top line ‘Complete’ running series shoes and the new Ventis should become a favorite in 2010 for many neutral runners.
