The Headsweats Hi-Vis series combines bright colors and reflective piping to improve visibility and safety for runners. I was excited to try the Hi-Vis Race Cap.
Headsweats Hi-Vis Race Cap Features
This was my first hat from Headsweats. I’ve had several of their visors and am familiar with their outstanding sweat-wicking and comfort. The first things I noted about the Race Cap were its lightweight feel and bright appearance. At just two ounces, it is extremely lightweight. The color is vibrant and is sure to help you stick out in a crowd.
The hat was very simple to adjust to my head- I just slid the band to the size of my head and the snap keeps in place. The space for a ponytail is in the perfect spot. After the initial adjustment, everything stayed put and I didn’t have to change anything after several long runs.

The Coolmax fabric that makes up the hat, brim, and glare-resistant under-brim is what makes Headsweats the best at wicking sweat away from your eyes. The part of the hat that really stands out is Headsweats’ own Eventure™ reflective fabric. When light hits the fabric, it glows bright like a strip of white neon. The Headsweats Hi-vis Race Cap is also quite durable- I’ve taken it out on many adventures and it has held up perfectly after several machine washes.

Bottom Line
The Headsweats Hi-Vis Race Cap is perfect for a runner looking for a lightweight, highly visible, sweat-wicking hat. It would be great for an early morning or late evening training run, and even help your fans spot you during a race. I tried it in the Coral color, and is also available in Yellow.
