Under Armour has a solid reputation for making high performance gear and apparel for team sports and general fitness, but has made a strong push in the last coupe years to be considered among the best running gear labels. The Heatgear Sleeveless Run Shirt is a solid performer and a good value. Runners have simple needs from day-to-day running gear, like moisture-wicking, comfort, and great fit. The UA Heatgear top delivers on these. This top features a soft, comfortable Heatgear mesh fabric and flat seam construction that feel great and didn’t cause our testers any discomfort. For a budget piece, it does a decent job of wicking, but some of our testers reported that on very hot days, the material tended to retain perspiration moisture and cling a bit. The fit and cut of the Heatgear Sleeveless is a comfortable one – not too fitted for those who want room to move, but not so relaxed as to hinder the running movement. Visibility is great in this top, with logos on the front and back made of high-reflective material.
Overall, our testers were pleased with the Heatgear Sleeveless as a workhorse run and workout top that provides solid performance and wont break the bank. We highly recommend this piece for daily use.
