Mizuno Mustang Short Review
Not all running shorts are created equal and the Mizuno Mustang running shorts are a perfect example. This spring we have tested a great number of running specific shorts from a variety of brands and found the Mizuno Mustang to be the top performer. The following are a few of the features we consider when testing a pair of running shorts: the length, liner, pockets, reflectivity, breathability, fit while running, and style.
After running through various distances, climates, and environments, we found the Mustang running shorts to perform flawlessly. With a 4″ inseam and 14″ length (waistband to seam), we found these shorts to be a perfect balance; not too short and not too long/baggy. These shorts come with a zipper side pocket that is big enough to fit a smart phone, MP3 player, energy bar, or anything else you want to keep from bouncing out of your pocket. The shorts also include an inner key pocket. The liner is made of Drilite material, which helps prevent moisture build up and chaffing. The liner fit our tester incredibly well and remained comfy well into a long run. Lastly, the shorts have a little style thanks to colorful reflective accents that keep you visible and ensure that the shorts aren’t too plain either. Overall, we found the Mizuno Mustang running shorts to be our go to running short and give them our Editors Choice! For more information, please visit Mizunousa.com
