Testers at Active Gear Review tested the Costa Del Mar Prop sunglasses with the 580 G lens in conjunction with the Costa Del Mar Tuna Alley – reviewed here. The style on the Costa Del Mar Prop Sunglasses is reminiscent of the 1950’s wayfarer design with a modern twist. These sporty frames come in 6 different colors with the 400 G, 580G and 580 P lens options. These glasses are equipped with a durable nylon frame and nylon integral hinge, creating a lightweight and durable frame. Testers found these sunglasses comfortable, fun and versatile. The Costa Del Mar Prop Sunglasses fit nicely on a small to medium size framed face and were easy to wear for long periods of time.

All of Costa’s sunglasses are made to order. Customers have the choice of 7 lens colors, each designed for specific fishing conditions. Lens are constructed of glass or plastic, both scratch resistant. All lens are 100% UV light blocking for maximum protection and 100% polarized to decrease/eliminate reflective glare to reduce strain on the eye. Costa customers also have the option for prescription lens to be placed in each of their frames – we didn’t test the Costa Del Mar Prop Sunglasses with prescription lenses, but this would be a nice addition.
