The XX2i Optics France 2 Sunglasses are half-rimmed polarized sport sunglasses that perform way above their price point. XX2i France 2 Fit & Frames

The XX2i France 2 Sunglasses have a snug fit and stay in place thanks to rubber nose and ear pieces. In addition they come with two additional nose and ear pieces that can be quickly adjusted to further customize fit to just about anyone. The rubber nosepiece keeps these glasses in place even on bumpy rides or runs. I did some extensive rides in direct sun (read: I was really sweaty) on rough dirt roads with these on and I didn’t find myself reach to adjust them even once. I had no trouble with them fitting with a couple different bike helmets. 

I really liked the half-rimmed frame of the XX2i France 2 sunglasses because it did not obstruct my view and allowed for easy airflow around the lenses both while moving and once I was stopped. This prevented them from fogging up once I stopped moving like many sunglasses do. Hot, cool, humid, dry, these frames and lenses stayed clear and fog free.

Features & Extras

Every pair of XX2i France 2 sunglasses comes with 2 extra nose pads, 2 extra ear sleeves, a screwdriver, replacement screws, sport strap, soft case and hard case. You can also choose to get them with two spare lense. I would note that the pair I received to test did not have spare lenses, so I wasn’t able to test the interchangeable lens feature.

One of the extras that XX2i sunglasses come with that most others don’t is a Lifetime Guarantee. If they every scratch or break they will replace them! They also offer a 365 day return policy, giving you a full year to decide if you like the sunglasses.

Overall Performance

I wore the XX2i France 2 sunglasses cycling in the city and in the mountains, on dirt and pavement, and in hot and cold and they performed extremely well in all conditions. They never fogged, they were crystal clear, no distortion, stayed in place, and were very durable. Since they’re polarized I also wore them fishing a few times and the lenses performed well on the river too. 

The only two things that the XX2i France 2 sunglasses might have going against them are the stiff, slightly heavier frames and the very sporty, less stylish look, but at the price-point they’re available at, neither of those would deter me from picking up a pair.

If you’re someone that just isn’t into dropping a large chunk of cash on sunglasses or you frequently lose or break sunglasses and can’t justify pricier sunglasses, but still want top-notch performance I highly recommend looking into the XX2i France sunglasses.
