Review: Vasque Blur SL
The Vasque Blur SL is a trail running you can depend on while logging hard trail miles. The Blur SL comes with a TPU shank and a nylon plate which are great for rocky trails and provides stability when you need it. Testers found these shoes to be highly breathable thanks to a mesh upper that is quick drying and comes in handy when blazing through puddles or running on hot summer days. The Blur SL also comes with a nice toe bumper for when you hit a rock or a stump; speaking from experience, this feature can really save your toes. The Blur SL is made of a duel density foam that creates a soft ride for you heel strikers and is especially nice on the downhills. The tread on the Blur SL is aggressive for uphill treks as well as steep descents. The shoe has a neutral feel, however, it could also be great for for mild pronators. We are also happy to report back that the outsoles did not shred when we tested the shoes on rough and rugged terrain. Overall, we were very happy with the performance of the Vasque Blur SL and give them our stamp of approval. For more information, please visit Vasque.com
